On Thursday, January 23, 2020, at the Napredak Cultural Center, Bogovićeva 1, Zagreb, the Croatian-Indian Society and the Croatian Cultural Society Napredak organized Dr. Davor Pavuna‘s lecture “EU after Brexit: India and Croatia.”
Dr. Pavuna said that our little Croatia presides over the EU during Brexit. The exit of Great Britain has a considerable influence on the Indian cooperation dynamics with the EU. The United Kingdom was their main partner. Although most media concentrate on the economic relations between China and America, we forget mother India and her exceptional civilization. The lecture examined some opportunities for a strengthened role of Croatia in collaboration and exchange with India in the context of European dynamics.
The special guest of Dr. Pavuna was the young Croatian innovator, the director of the company Jel-tom and the gold medalist at the innovation fairs in Geneva, San Francisco, Zagreb, Nuremberg and India, Mr. Tomislav Pokrajčić.
The director of the company Kota Consulting, Ms. Tanja Kovačević, spoke about the grants from the EU funds.
